At Creative Life Counseling Services, I strive to provide mindful and competent healing for my clients. My primary focus is helping you to find fulfillment in your life, work, and relationships. By working together in therapy, you and I will identify productive ways to create fulfillment. We will explore cycles of ineffective and destructive behavior and strive to make change. I will provide the support and structure you need to see the extent of the control you have over your own happiness.
I utilize various therapeutic techniques in session based on each client’s needs and focus on mindfulness components of several evidence based therapies. I incorporate Play therapy in my work with children and offer clients the opportunity to explore Art therapy for emotional expression, creative problem solving, and introspection.

Hi, I’m Ezza (she/her) and I’m so glad you’re here! As a therapist, my aim is to build empathic relationships and empower clients to create meaningful change. I appreciate working with clients that understand that change is a process, motivated to do the work in and out of the session, and enjoy being in a collaborative relationship. I believe that therapy is a process where you can gain tools to address life’s challenges, gain insight, determine what you’d like to change about it, work towards making those changes while navigating all the thoughts, feelings and emotions that may come up in the process. I approach therapy from a relational, integrative, and multicultural framework with skills grounded in mindfulness-based and evidenced-based approaches. Taryn strives to create an open and empathic space where clients can feel understood and supported. She believes that therapy is an opportunity for each individual to learn about themselves, find purpose, and take steps toward living an authentic life.
Using a strengths-based approach, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and mindfulness-based practices, Taryn will assist you in better understanding how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are impacting your life. She will encourage you to identify your core values and use them as a guide toward taking meaningful action. Taryn prioritizes warmth, genuineness, and compassion in the development of lasting personal change.
Taryn received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University. She also received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Healing, in its many forms, is often messy and demanding. But healing can set us free. As a counselor, Alexandra seeks to support, empower, and walk alongside clients in their search for wellness, growth, and freedom. During sessions, Alexandra will listen to your story, help you develop coping mechanisms, and encourage you to find meaning and exercise agency. She strives to continuously learn and grow in cultural competency, which is a vital component of trust-building and effective counseling. She is also committed to advocacy work outside of the office because she believes that our health as individuals is intertwined with the health of our communities.
Alexandra is open to working with a diverse range of individuals and presenting issues. She has experience working with womxn exiting incarceration, and people struggling with trauma, addiction, anxiety, and grief. She is passionate about complex and intergenerational trauma, spirituality, immigration, sexuality, and identity.
Alexandra is a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Adler University. She previously received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana. She is currently involved in research about trauma as narrative, as well as anti-racism in academia.
